Another member posted a question about aggregating to a list in various parts of a recipe. The answer was this: "Use the variable connection instead of the list connection and you will be able to add to the variable list at different steps within the recipe". As a new Workato user, I don't know what this is referring to - I do not see variable connectors anywhere. Where can they be found?

Thanks very much Jayesh. I had seen various posts by Workato members saying that there was no way to create a custom variable in Workato - however, they were a few years old.

I see there is a way, and apparently the scope of the variable is the entire recipe (after variable creation).
