G'day Pros!

Wanted to share a quick demo of the new recipe diff feature. You can use it now to track changes between two versions of any recipe – useful for peer reviews. Check it out and let us know if you have any feedback.

Coming soon: an update to this feature that will let you drill down into the detail of steps with updated configuration.

Kale Bogdanovs , would be really cool if the same feature could be expanded to parent - child recipes too.

When you copy a recipe, the copy always carry the parent reference (that can be seen in the settings) and if the parent is updated, it will show that update popup and offer to install the update.

The feature would be of great collaboration help if added in that process of accepting the parent update into the copy, by basically opening the Recipe Diff, comparing the latest parent recipe with the latest copy/child version.

Now, a distant dream on top of recipe diff feature would be to make this comparison an interactive process, allowing a dynamic merge activity that could generate a draft version with the changes you picked.
