I need to connect to clients SFTP which goes something like SFTP-Cloud have shared a file with me which i am guessing is a public key gies something like sftp-cloud ssh-rsa AADDDBBBBB..... so on. How do i connect to their SFTP?

how to ass their public key doe the format needs to be

***BEGIN PUBLIC KEY? If yes how to convert? Any documents for reference. Thanks all

Anyone. I meant can I connect to client sftp with only their public key?

Do we need both public and private key from client?

A private key would be fine and you will be able to connect.
