Summary

The Business Analyst will join the Analytics function built within Revenue Operations and will act as a strategic thinker and tactical executor of analytics at MyCase. In this position you’ll gain an in-depth understanding of business strategy, processes, roadmap, and the context in which the business operates; and work closely with the MyCase Senior Business Analyst, and with cross-functional partners, to report key findings and help MyCase use data to drive decisions. This role will be key to understanding and documenting the capabilities needed to address business challenges.


What You’ll Do 

  • Support business analytics for MyCase, providing timely analysis and insights to enable great decisions.
  • Contribute to MyCase’s success by working independently to drive key insights through data analysis and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
  • Partner and collaborate cross-functionally to establish or redefine dashboards, refine reporting standards and automation, identify workflow/system improvements, and perform ad hoc analyses.
  • Proactively communicate data insights that influence quarterly and annual business planning and KPI’s

  • Communication: Effectively communicate and navigate conversations with leaders and departments to ensure the right decisions are made 

Must-Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or other quantitative fields (or equivalent work experience)
  • 2+ years’ experience in an analytical role involving data extraction, reporting, and analysis, preferably for an internet or technology company.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
  • Basic knowledge of data warehouse tools such as Snowflake, Redshift, etc. is a plus
  • Familiarity with Cloud, SaaS, and B2B business models
  • Analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to work through complex, ambiguous problems using data and turn insights into actionable recommendations
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate findings
  • Self-motivated, independent, organized and proactive, highly responsive, flexible and adaptable when working across multiple teams
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
