Preparing for the ITIL-4-Foundation exam can feel overwhelming at first, especially with all the concepts like service value system, guiding principles, and practices. The best approach I found is to start with the official ITIL syllabus to understand the core terminology and framework. Once the basics are clear, focus on understanding scenarios instead of memorizing definitions, because the exam questions are mostly concept-based.
Regular revision is very important, especially for key areas like the service value chain and continual improvement. Creating short notes and revisiting weak topics helps a lot in the final days. Also, managing time during the exam is crucial, so practicing in a timed environment can really improve confidence.
One thing that made a big difference for me was using practice questions , as they help you understand the real exam pattern and identify gaps before the actual test.
