Platform Connector Updates

We have made significant enhancements to various critical strategic connectors, such as Data Tables, NetSuite, OpenAI or S3. Find below the top 10 releases, and check the entire list the full Platform Connector Release Notes.
  • OpenAI: New/Improved Actions:
    • We have enhanced the "Send messages to ChatGPT" action by adding function support
    • Users can now create any schema using the schema editor, not just key-value pairs in the Parse Text action
    • The new “Summarize text” action allows for text summarization
  • Data Tables: Users can now use the "Remove values from a record" action to remove values, relations, and attached files from a record
  • Google Sheets: The picklist API previously only returned the available spreadsheets, not the individual sheets within them. We have now added an option for a picklist "with_sheets". When this option is set to true, the API will return the individual sheets within a spreadsheet. In addition, Non-English characters are now supported in Google Sheets datapills!
  • Amazon S3: Several improvements to the Amazon S3 usability like hints, improved error handling or new support options for different fields.
  • NetSuite: Two new features for the NetSuite connector: Get Record by ID and Search Records. Additional Bug fixes.
  • AI by Workato: We have improved the “Categorise Text” action. Some UX enhancements including changing the title and description dynamically based on the user input for category type were implemented.
  • Sharepoint: We have improved the Sharepoint search files action. Previously, users could only search by exact filename. Now, we have introduced advanced filters to make the search action more versatile.
  • Gmail: The connection setup process for the Gmail connector has been revamped and allows more granular scopes.
  • BIM360: We have set a minimum scope and added the ability to select granular scopes. Customers can now customize their scopes by selecting permissions from the picklist, which will overwrite the default permissions.
  • Outlook: We have made enhancements to Outlook by adding new actions and a trigger. The new actions include the ability to create a calendar, delete an event, and list calendars. Additionally, a new trigger has been added for deleted events.
In addition, more enhancements for connectors like Shopify, Workday, Jira, Adobe Experience Manager, SFTP, Formstack, Coupa, Outreach, ServiceNow, Egnyte or Dropbox!

I'm looking forward to Data Pipelines, as well as Data Tables being available independent of Workflow Apps.
