For Women's History Month, a group of women at Malwarebytes came up with a plan to recognize women each day. Someone would post an image and quick bio or facts to a Slack channel about a woman each day and then nominate a random woman from the company to post for the following day. I almost didn't get tagged, but yesterday the poster tagged me to close out the month.
In comes Workato! I wrote a recipe to pull all of the users profile images out of Slack and save in Box. With those profile pictures, I was able to generate a mosaic (unfortunately this part wasn't through Workato - that's the more advanced recipe that's not built yet!). It's incredibly easy to get the images from Slack using a combination of workbot to pull the public image url for each user and a non-authenticated http request to that url, so feel free to use my idea for your own images and share what you come up with!

Wow! That’s amazing. Did you have to manipulate those photos (e.g. different background colors)? What was the tool that created the mosaic?

Thanks! I used https://www.easymoza.com/ to create the mosaic. We have over 900 employees represented in this graphic, so there were a lot of images for it to pull from. I didn't adjust any of the images manually but it does look like their software colorized some of them or else the outlines around each of the images provide a sort of optical illusion.
