Writing to a network share

I am trying to use the On-Premises agent to download files to a network share.  What is the format of the path that should be entered in the base field when setting up the connection?  I have not seen any examples so I was not sure if a UNC path would work.  Also, I assume that I need to change the account running the service to one that has access to the share?

There are a lot of different options to choose from, and that doc will outline the steps to set up each.

The account running the service should have access to the share.

Thanks, we did change the account that the service was running under and that did give us access to the share.
