We are happy to introduce API custom authorization!
Custom authorization allows you to enforce additional sets of authorization claims on API recipe endpoints. This has been requested by many of our customers!

Custom authorization allows you to enforce additional sets of authorization claims on API recipe endpoints. This has been requested by many of our customers!
How does it work?
- an API request is made to an endpoint and authenticated with a valid token, we evaluate the custom authorization expression, and only accept the request if the claims expression evaluates to true.
Why do you need it?
- Custom authorizations let you enforce additional security measures such as role-based access control, locale restrictions, and custom business logic.
Currently, this is a private feature that can be enabled upon request for all customers with access to the API Platform. Please let your CSM know if you are interested!

- EDI Tools by Workato enhancements:
- Enable all EDI transactions: We have now enhanced our system to support all available EDI transactions across all versions.
- Overall UX Clean Up, simplified configuration for EDI actions, better user experience through the Generate EDI action setup, which also helps prevent errors, etc.
