API Collection Deployment

Hi there.

Is there any way to "Deploy" A API Collection  from DEV to TEST and Production?

I mean, in DEV we created an New API Recipe Collection. We were able to DEploy from DEV to TEST all recipes associate to the API collection, but what about the defination of the API?

Or I have to open API Platform in TEST and created from scratch the Collection?

Hi @jreategui,
No need to recreate the API collections manually, as Workato handles it automatically. Below are the instructions to follow:

Exporting Process (Refer to the attached image for guidance
1. If using Recipe Life Cycle Management (RLCM) for exporting and importing:
- Go to RLCM → Export → Create New Manifest → Select the appropriate Project folder.
2. By default, API Collections are selected.
- You can deselect them based on your requirements.
3. Ensure that recipes associated with the API Collection → Endpoints are selected.
4. Click on Export to download a ZIP folder.

Importing Process: (Refer to the attached image for guidance)
1. If using Recipe Life Cycle Management (RLCM) for importing:
- Go to RLCM → Import → Select the ZIP folder created during the exporting process → Choose the appropriate Target folder.
2. Click Import.
3. The API Collection will automatically be created in the API Collection section. (Refer to the attached reference image).
4. Corresponding recipes will also be imported.
5. After importing, activate:
- Recipes
- Followed by the API Endpoints.
