Recipe Parameter

Hi,

Is there a way to add a parameter/value to a recipe that will be retrievable when getting recipe details with a RecipeOps action?

For example, I want to add a parameter named "Related Slack Channel" to a recipe, and when getting the recipe details, to have this parameter included.

watching... i have a secret code way of doing this type of thing within the recipe name and would much prefer a way to tag like you mention.

Utilizing the recipe name was something I also thoght about. I wanted to see if there's a better way.

Depending on whether you have space in your job report, you could make that variable part of the job report. If you then run a get job details RecipeOps action you could get the variable out that way - this solution uses up one of your job report columns and an extra step but I can't think of another way to do it
